Training overview

We run dementia training for organisations that want to improve the skills and knowledge of their staff in supporting people with dementia.

Most of the dementia training courses we run are bespoke – created to address the specific needs of commissioning organisations. Our courses are good value for money and we offer flexibility in the length and scheduling of training. Most of our training can be delivered remotely – via Zoom – or face to face at a venue of your choice.

We make a real difference to staff attitudes and practices by helping people understand the perspective of the person with dementia. Staff develop more confidence, insight, motivation and job satisfaction. This raises standards, increases effectiveness and develops a person-centred culture – bringing positive outcomes for people with dementia.

Accredited training

If you want your staff to gain nationally recognised qualifications and/or certificates of achievement, we can provide accredited training courses approved and quality-assured by OCN London, a national awarding body regulated by Ofqual.

All our accredited courses are mapped to the Skills for Health / Skills for Care Dementia Training Standards Framework and cover topics identified by the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) dementia units.

  • “Fantastic course, the best I have attended over the past 17 years.  This was largely due to the way in which the trainer delivered it, her knowledge and the way she accepted others’ views and opinions.”
